How it works

One instant, many local times

01

Enter a time

Paste an ISO string, a Unix timestamp, or a date and time without an offset.

02

Define the source

An explicit Z or UTC offset is respected. Otherwise, the selected source zone supplies the missing context.

03

Choose the destination

Moment Timezone applies the correct offset and daylight-saving rules for the selected date.

What does the Z at the end of a timestamp mean?

Z means the value is in UTC, also called Zulu time. For example, 08:00Z becomes 16:00 in UTC+8.

Does UTC+8 use daylight saving time?

China Standard Time, Hong Kong Time, and Singapore Standard Time remain at UTC+8 throughout the year.

Are my dates uploaded?

No. Parsing, conversion, and world-clock updates run locally in your browser.
