Consistency is the real advantage

When gallery or product images share a purpose, they should also share a format and quality target. A batch workflow reduces accidental differences and makes output easier to review.

Test before processing everything

Choose one representative image with fine detail, gradients, and text. Find a setting that works for it, then apply that rule to the group. Unusual images can be recompressed separately afterward.

Keep input and output organized

Work from copies, preserve useful filenames, and put results in a dedicated folder or ZIP. Review several finished files before replacing anything in a website or catalog. Batch compression speeds repetition; it does not remove the need for a quality check.
